What it does
Once installed, the plugin adds a new Order Statuses screen under WooCommerce, where you can create statuses and assign each one a color using WordPress’s native color picker.
Every status you create is registered as a proper wc-{slug} WooCommerce order status, so it behaves like a built-in one: it shows up when editing orders individually or in bulk, it can be used in automated workflows and filters, and it appears correctly in order emails and reports.
In the orders list, statuses are displayed with their assigned color and automatic black or white text for readability, so the state of an order is clear at a glance without having to open it.
The admin screen where you manage statuses also shows how many orders currently sit in each one, so it’s easy to spot bottlenecks in your fulfillment process.

The plugin is HPOS compatible, meaning it works correctly with WooCommerce’s High-Performance Order Storage.

Getting started
In order to works, WooCommerce must already be active.
Install and activate the plugin, then go to WooCommerce → Order Statuses to create your first custom status.
Give it a name, pick a color, and save.
From that point on, the new status is available anywhere WooCommerce order statuses are used.
You can assign it to orders manually, in bulk, or through automation, just like any default status.
This is useful for stores with workflows that don’t map cleanly onto WooCommerce’s defaults: fulfillment steps like Awaiting Pickup, Ready for Delivery, On Hold – Payment Verification, In Production, or Shipped – Awaiting Confirmation are common examples, but any custom step your process requires can be modeled the same way.
Common questions
Each custom status has its own color picker in the editor screen, so yes, colors are fully customizable per status.
Because statuses are registered as normal WooCommerce statuses, they also work with emails, filters, and reports, though some third-party plugins may need their own integration to recognize them.
One thing the plugin does not do is change the color of WooCommerce’s default statuses, such as Processing or Completed.
It only manages colors for the custom statuses created through its own interface.
Default statuses continue to use WooCommerce’s core styling.
