Type of Smart Discount
The RIACO Smart Quantity Discount plugin includes three default discount types:
- Simple discount
- Quantity / volume discount
- BOGO (Buy X, Get Y Free)
Simple Discount
With Simple Discount, you can apply either a percentage discount or a fixed amount discount.
That’s it, simple and straightforward.
Quantity Discount
Quantity discounts let you offer pricing based on the number of items purchased.
For example:
- Buy 3–5 → 10% off
- Buy 6+ → 20% off
A dynamic quantity discount table is displayed on the product page (for eligible products), allowing customers to see all available pricing tiers at a glance.
BOGO (Buy X, Get Y Free)
BOGO rules allow you to create Buy X, Get Y Free promotions.
Simply define how many items (X) a customer must purchase and how many free items (Y) they will receive, then apply conditions to target specific products.
When a customer adds the required quantity of eligible products to the cart, the plugin automatically adds the free items (Y) at no cost.
The free items are also automatically removed if the qualifying products are removed from the cart, ensuring everything stays consistent without manual adjustments.
There is also an auto-rendered BOGO deal table on product pages for BOGO rules.
Condition targeting
You can create highly flexible discount rules using a variety of conditions:
- Target specific products or product categories
- Restrict by cart subtotal (minimum order amount)
